DX Demo Push Cart is designed to enhance shopping by creating a lively and interactive environment. Its main purpose is to help sales personnel effectively display Toshiba's products through a user-friendly, portable design that's easy to assemble and move. The cart showcases two key customer experiences: the Shopping Journey and the Dining Journey, highlighting how customers interact and the improvements in service. It features advanced options like mobility, loyalty programs, self-scanning, self-payment, self-checkout, and data analytics, along with CMS and CRM platforms, all aimed at providing a seamless and modern retail experience.

I have created sketches of various configurations, including foldable designs, integrated shelves, and canopy options. These designs are inspired by the Toshiba booth design concept. One particular pushcart design was selected for further development, as shown below. Additionally, I assembled a mood board featuring images of both vintage and modern pushcarts, incorporating materials such as wood, and aligning with Toshiba's color scheme and brand identity.
The main design principles are ease of movement, simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and the ability to display all Toshiba products. The pushcart includes the following features: 1. Zebra MC18PSS 2. POS machine 3. Receipt printer 4. Second display 5. Brochure slot 6. HDMI TV 7. Mobile tablet 8. HDMI TV for presentations and etc.
To ensure the pushcart design meets practical limitations, available material constraints, and optimal storage capacity, I have gathered valuable feedback from vendors. This input has been crucial in refining the design to better suit real-world applications and user needs.
In order to convey a cheerful design and effectively illustrate all the features and product selling points, I have created a series of lively and cartoonish sketches. The designs incorporate elements such as promotions, smart technology, operational experiences, and customer engagement, inspired by the playful and vibrant style of vintage and modern pushcarts.
These sketches are designed to be both informative and visually appealing, ensuring that the key features and benefits of the products are clearly communicated to the audience.
