Toshiba Retail Challenge 2018

In 2018, I had the opportunity to manage the end-to-end organization of the Toshiba Retail Competition. My responsibilities included defining the art direction for the entire event, ensuring alignment with Toshiba's corporate identity, and creating a cohesive visual identity. I have in charged all event material. Additionally, I was responsible for the web development, including coding the basic HTML and CSS. This role allowed me to demonstrate my expertise in branding, design, and front-end development.

Overview

Toshiba-retail challenge 2018 allow young people to participate if they are a full-time tertiary student and are matriculated in NUS or NTU located in Singapore.Tertiary student of NUS/NTU under the age of 18 are permitted to join.

The theme for Toshiba Retail Challenge 2018 is "Solving Grocery Retailers Challenges by enchancing the digital transformation experience of their customers". The Toshiba Retail Challenge 2018 is the right platform for you to show case your most innovative ideas to our clients business challenges.

The Goal

The TOSHIBA Retail Challenge 2018 aimed to boost brand awareness and showcase Toshiba's innovative products. The competition engaged retail partners to strengthen relationships and drive sales.
It encouraged participants to develop creative retail solutions, improving the customer experience in stores. The event also fostered a sense of community and provided networking opportunities. Additionally, it aimed to identify talented individuals and gather market insights to inform future strategies. The competition generated engaging content for Toshiba’s marketing channels, enhancing the brand’s online presence.

For the end-to-end completion event, I was responsible for managing all the event materials. This included designing EDMs (Electronic Direct Mail) and coding them in HTML & CSS, creating competition banners, designing trophies and certificates, and producing event T-shirts. Additionally, I prepared the event kick-off presentation in PowerPoint, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing experience for all attendees.
